Carmen Miranda, (February 9, 1909 – August 5, 1955) nicknamed the “Brazilian Bombshell”, was a Portuguese born Brazilian samba singer, entertainer, Broadway actress, and Hollywood film star popular during the 1940′s and 50′s.
