Conchita Montenegro a stage and screen actress during the 1930s.

Conchita Montenegro (September 11, 1912 – April 22, 2007) was a Spanish model, dancer, stage and screen actress. Her more memorable movies include “The Cisco Kid” (1931), “Strangers May Kiss” (1931), “Never the Twain Shall Meet” (1931), and “Cristobal’s Gold” (1940).  Montenegro’s movie career in America ended in 1940 and after making a few movies in Spain, she retired forever from the cinema in 1944, refusing any interview or presence in the media, even to honor her.
