Conrad Nagel was a matinee idol of the silent film era and beyond.

Conrad Nagel (March 16, 1897 – February 24, 1970) was an American screen actor and a Hollywood matinee idol of the silent film era and beyond. He was also a well-known television actor and radio performer. For his contributions to film, radio, and television, Conrad Nagel was given three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1719 Vine Street (Motion Pictures), 1752 Vine Street (Radio), and 1752 Vine Street (Television).
