Gladys George — American film actress of the 1930s and ’40s

Gladys George (September 13, 1904 – December 8, 1954) was an American actress with seventeen film credits in her short career. George was afflicted with numerous ailments, including throat cancer, heart disease, and cirrhosis of the liver. She died at the age of 50 from a cerebral hemorrhage on December 8, 1954 in Los Angeles, California.
