Gwili Andre

Gwili Andre (February 4, 1908 – February 5, 1959) was a Danish actress who had a brief career in Hollywood films. Andre’s striking looks were likened to that of Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich, but her acting garnered poor reviews and she only appeared in seven films from 1932 to 1942.  Andre died in a fire at her Venice, California home at the age of fifty-one.
