Julie Andrews

Dame Julie Elizabeth Andrews, DBE was born October 1, 1935 in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, England. Andrews is an English film and stage actress, singer, and author. She is the recipient of Golden Globe, Emmy, Grammy, BAFTA, People’s Choice Award, Theatre World Award, Screen Actors Guild and Academy Award honours. In 2000 Julie Andrews was made a Dame for services to the performing arts by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.
