June Haver popular actress in musicals of the 1940s

June Haver (June 10, 1926 – July 4, 2005) was an American film actress best remembered as a popular alternative to the musical film stars Betty Grable and Alice Faye in several musicals in the 1940s. Haver’s movies include “Irish Eyes Are Smiling” (1944), “The Dolly Sisters” (1945), “Scudda Hoo! Scudda Hay!” (1948), “Look for the Silver Lining” (1949), and “Oh, You Beautiful Doll” (1949). For her contribution to the motion picture industry, June Haver has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1777 Vine Street.
