Luana Patten a child star for Walt Disney Studios

Luana Patten (July 6, 1938 – May 1, 1996) was an American film actress. At eight years of age, Patten was one of the first two contract players, along with Bobby Driscoll, for Walt Disney Studios. Their first movie together was “Song of the South” (1946). Patten made three more films as a child star, then left film for several years. She returned in in 1956 to star in “Rock, Pretty Baby” (1956). Patten followed that by making several teen films before retiring from Hollywood in 1970.
