Marion Martin (June 7, 1909 – August 13, 1985) an American movie and stage actress from the 1940s was often cast as a stripper, chorus girl or brazen, gold-digger type, her feline roles actually belied her off camera personality as a shy, intelligent and fashionable lady. Movies include “Boom Town” (1940), “The Merry Monahans” (1944), and “Gangs of the Waterfront” (1945). Marion Martin has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions to motion pictures, at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard.
