Nancy Carroll a popular film actress of the late 1920s and 30s

 

Nancy Carroll (November 19, 1903 – August 6, 1965) was an American film actress of the late 1920s and ’30s with forty-six films to her credit during her brief movie career. After retiring from film in 1938, Carroll returned to the stage and later starred in television. Carroll died August 6, 1965 from an aneurysm, she was 61 years old. For her contributions to the motion picture industry, Nancy Carroll has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1719 Vine Street.
