Rock Hudson

Rock Hudson (born Roy Harold Scherer, Jr., November 17, 1925 – October 2, 1985), was an American film and television actor. The 6 foot 5 inch tall actor was one of the most popular and well-known movie stars of his time, often starring in romantic comedies opposite Doris Day, Hudson is also recognized for dramatic roles in films such as “Giant” (1956) and “Magnificent Obsession” (1954). He completed nearly 70 motion pictures and starred in several television productions during a career that spanned over four decades.
