Basically, the term ‘home theater’ is somewhat difficult to define since it is rather a vague term that refers to a certain type of approach to home entertainment. The next obvious difference is the large size of the movie screen in the movie theater. Because it takes up most of your field of vision, it makes it easier for you to lose yourself in the plot and story of the movie you are watching. This is understandable when you consider that you are sitting in a dark room with only a giant screen to look at.
